About
supporting greenville’s bravest with essential equipment and resources
The Greenville Firefighters Foundation is committed to equipping our local heroes with critical tools and resources, ensuring they can serve and protect our community with excellence and safety. Check out some of the equipment funded through various fundraising efforts and donations.
Seek Attack Pro Themal Cameras
A pair of Seek AttackPro thermal cameras donated and installed on Greenville Fire Department’s Engine 1 and Engine 2. Simple functions and highly durable, these cameras provide enhanced image clarity for firefighters to quickly and effectively assess any situation. With the truck mounted chargers and spare batteries these cameras are always ready when needed.

Battery powered ventilation fans
Through a special fundraising drive with many local businesses and individuals contributing to the effort, we were able to equip both Engine 1 and Engine 2 with a new battery powered positive pressure fan. These BlowHard fans are designed for rapid deployment and complete portability while also saving crucial space on the apparatus by eliminating the need for an additional gas powered generator and taking up a smaller footprint than the corded electric fans they replaced.

four gas meters
Purchased with a donation from a business in town, we were able to equip both Engine 1 and Engine 2 with a new QRAE 3 four gas meters. These specific meters offer wireless communication capabilities in addition to the traditional gas detection functions.

Our first gas meter purchase to expand our capabilities beyond the one existing four gas meter on Greenville Rescue 1 was a pair of Honeywell BW GasAlert MicroClip X3 meters which were placed into service on Engine 1 and Engine 2.

85″ wall mounted tv
As technology advances so does the ability to improve training quality. Training was just one of the intended purposes for the purchase of this 85″ TV for the Greenville Fire Station. This is used for training, meetings, or any other time when screen sharing information is beneficial.

Hydrant Assist Valves
Through a joint effort working directly with the Greenville Fire Chief, we contributed funds toward the purchase of two Oasis 4-Way Hydrant Assist Valves to be placed in service on Engine 1 and Engine 2. These valves help maximize water supply, pressure, and flow rate by allowing firefighters to connect a supply line from the hydrant to a boost Engine to increase the flow and pressure without interrupting the water supply to the fire scene. This becomes critical when the fire scene is a significant distance away from the operating hydrant.
